Questions, answered

The things people ask before moving day.

Should I reserve curb space for a San Francisco move?

It depends on the address. Where a moving truck needs dedicated public curb space, SFMTA temporary tow-away signage can be useful. Existing curb restrictions and building rules still apply.

Do you handle apartment and high-rise requirements?

Yes. Send elevator reservations, loading instructions, garage clearance and certificate-of-insurance requirements before move day so they can be built into the plan.

Do you serve outside San Francisco proper?

Yes. Current Bay Area coverage includes the Peninsula, selected North Bay and East Bay communities, Silicon Valley and the South Bay as listed on this page.

What happens after I request an estimate?

The form gives us the basics: origin, destination, move date, home size and contact information. Our office then follows up to confirm the scope and any access details that affect the plan, such as stairs, elevators, hills, curb restrictions, loading docks or unusually heavy items.
