Mukilteo stretches from the historic waterfront and ferry terminal up steep residential slopes toward Harbour Pointe and the SR 525 corridor. That elevation change gives the city two very different moving environments.

Moving in Mukilteo
Old Town Mukilteo combines the ferry terminal, lighthouse area, rail line and steep streets rising from the water. Truck position and timing matter more here than on a typical suburban block.
Farther south around Harbour Pointe, homes and townhomes are newer and more planned, but HOA rules, shared drives and narrower residential streets can still shape loading.

Homes and apartments along the corridor need a legal loading position that keeps the truck out of through traffic.
Planned neighborhoods may add HOA rules, guest-parking limits, shared drives and garage-clearance questions.
Mukilteo right-of-way
Mukilteo's municipal code requires a City permit for use of public right-of-way, with different permit types depending on the activity. State-route impacts can also involve WSDOT.
For an ordinary residential move, start with a private driveway or normal legal parking position. If loading would occupy or control public right-of-way, confirm the current requirement with the City.

Local planning
Mukilteo's waterfront neighborhoods rise sharply away from Puget Sound, so a home can have an easy regional route but a difficult final block.
We plan around grade, driveway geometry, stairs, gates and the true carry from the safest usable truck position to the entrance.
For hourly-rated moves, our standard rates & policies still apply. The useful part is making the estimate reflect the real access and scope before moving day.
